South by Southwest 2018 will take place from March 9-18, 2018. According to a post on the festival website, details about registration will be coming soon.
It’s worth noting that, like last year, the 2018 dates are not broken down by individual festival track, Music, Film and Interactive.
This year, the festival experimented with greater convergence, allowing badge-holders secondary access to events that were not part of the core track associated with the badge. Following the festival, organizers surveyed attendees to gauge how many fest-goers were aware of, and took advantage of the secondary access.
We suspect even greater festival convergence could be coming next year.
