The Austin Urban Music Festival announced headliners for the 2017 fest, and fans of ’90s R&B should be mighty pleased to see is scheduled to go down as always on Texas Relays Weekend, which kicks off on Friday, March 31st this year. Power trio Tony! Toni! Tone! (a group that, unfortunately, no longer includes Raphael Saadiq) headlines a Friday bill that also includes Ginuwine, who will surely ride that “Pony” for us.
On Saturday, smooth crooner Keith Sweat headlines with ’60s singing group The Whispers also on the bill.
As always, the AUMF takes place on Texas Relays Weekend, which this year kicks off on Friday, March 31. Two-day tickets and single-day tickets for both days are currently on sale.
