Sound on Sound Festival will return to Sherwood Forest Faire in McDade, Texas next year, organizers announced on Monday. The dates are set for November 10-12 and early bird tickets will go on sale for $130 (plus tax and fees) Thursday. The lineup will be released in the spring.

Despite rain dampening festivities on the final day, SOS Fest had a successful run in its first year at the Central Texas Renaissance Festival campground about 45 minutes outside of Austin. Beach House in the country was a lovely, sensory experience, Big Boi brought the Dirty South vibes and general frivolity reigned supreme.
For next year’s event, organizers decided to push the fest back a weekend to give revelers a little time after Halloween to work on their punk rock/Ren Fest mashup costumes.
