After popping up on the lineup for the Coachella music festival in California yesterday, British indie pop band the XX also made headlines for teasing their North American tour by surprising fans with mailed invites to U.S. gigs. Today, we got the full itinerary for their “I See You” tour, named after the new album that drops next week.
The tour includes a stop at ACL Live on May 10. Tickets to the show will run from $45-$50, and they go on sale Jan. 13 at 10 a.m.
Also worth noting, the tour includes stops at three of the South American Lollapalooza events that are co-produced by Austin-based C3 Presents, the company that also produces Austin City Limits Fest. It’s pure speculation, but a return appearance in the fall for ACL Fest seems entirely possible.
